Imagine yourself on a long trip or waiting at the doctor’s office, wouldn’t it be great if you were able to watch your favorite movies on your Iphone or Ipad or any electronic device with Internet connection? And let’s not forget that movies are a great resource to entertain the kids when we need it the most, well now you can do it thanks to Walmart New Disc-to-Digital Service.
Since April 16th, at more than 3,500 Walmart stores in the U.S. movie fans can gain digital access to their favorite movies! Personally i can’t wait!
And it’s so easy and inexpensive, here’s how it Works:
* Bring your movie collections from the participating studio partners – DreamWorks, Paramount, Sony, Twentieth Century Fox, Universal and Warner Bros. – to your local Walmart Photo Center.
* A Walmart associate will help you create you own free VUDU account.
* You tell the associate how you would like your movies converted:
o Convert a standard DVD or Blu-ray movie for $2; or,
o Upgrade a standard DVD to an HD digital copy for $5, the process takes about 5 minutes!
* Walmart will authorize the digital copies and place them in your New VUDU account. No upload is necessary, and customers you get to keep your physical discs.
That’s it! Now you can log onto VUDU.com from more than 300 Internet-connected devices to view movies any time, any place.
As a working mom I hardly have anytime to watch TV, much less to watch a DVD, so Walmart Disc-to-Digital Service is perfect for me! For example, I have movies I watch over and over such as; The Way We Were, Something’s Gotta Give, I can imagine my self in my pool watching it! And very Christmas I watch, It’s a Wonderful Life and Meet Me in St.Louis, now I can watch them on my Ipad!
Every time I travel with the kids, one suitcase is full of DVD’s, but with Walmart Disc-to-Digital Service I won’t have to carry an extra suitcase or maybe I can use it for shoes! For example I’m planning on converting; Thomas and the Magic Railroad, Hugo, Goonies and a dozen more titles my kids can’t live without.
