  1. I think if your child really wants to act or model, its ok to support it up to a point. But, some parents get carried away and it becomes about the parent, not the kid. These kids seem a bit young to be on diets, getting prizes from their parents, etc.

    This is a tough one. I agree with Christina- up to a certain point it is healthy and fun.

  3. I guess it’s OK if the kids really want to and are having fun with it. But I’m with Christina and Jamie – They lost me after “going on a diet” – that just pushes it into the realm of unhealthy. A very interesting report!

    Wow…this is tough…..Honestly, I don’t know…I think at a certain age when a child is mature enough it might be ok as long as it is never about the parent and always what’s in the best interest of the child. I also think it may be very hard for some children to handle rejection….I know that eventually all children will face rejection but why subject them to it so early on?
