Say “Adios” to Summer at the Festival People en Español, San Antonio

There’s no better way to say “Adios” to the summer than dancing and singing Latin music and on Labor Day Weekend Latinos will get together for the 2013 Festival People en Español in San Antonio Texas, this amazing event will reunite dozens of Latino artists and celebrities for a nationwide celebration of culture, entertainment and the Hispanic community.

2013 Festival People en Español will celebrate “En familia” everything that we love; music, food, fashion and beauty, it’s a two days and two nights celebration of all we are passionate about!

The Festival People en Español will be held in San Antonio Texas on August 31st and September 1st 2013 where during the day you can you can enjoy FREE  events with celebrities like Maite Perroni, Angelica Maria, Jencarlos Canela, and many more, while children have fun in the kids’ area where they’ll find educational activities.

But the party is just starting because after sunset, you can enjoy exciting night concerts with Latin celebrities like Gloria Estefan, Demi Lovato, Alejandro Fernandez, Bobby Pulido, Frankie J and many more! (During the evening concerts, children should be with their parents or other adults.)

And don’t miss, “Latinos in Higher Education: Staying in School and Achieving Success” panel that is being hosted by Soledad O’Brien. The panel will take place at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center on Saturday, August 31st at 2 pm (CST). and it’s FREE! The discussion will feature segments that address a variety of critical issues with feedback from public figures such as; Congressman Joaquin Castro, Pamela Silva-Conde, co-anchor of Univision News’ Primer Impacto and Benita Veliz, DreamAct activist,  who have overcome challenges to achieve success. Two recipients in San Antonio will receive the Time Warner/People en Espan?ol Scholarship valued at $10,000 partnership with the Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF). MundoFox will contribute an $8,000 scholarship in partnership with HSF.
