I confess, naughty or nice I always buy what my kids want for Christmas, for me buying their Holiday gifts it’s my priority and it doesn’t matter if they deserve it or not and I’m not alone, according to a survey of Hispanic parents by Walmart,
Over 60 percent of Hispanic parents buy the same amount toys regardless of how their child has behaved over the year.
Of course my husband is at the top of my list, but first I make sure I have enough money to put under the Christmas tree all the toys my 2 boys want.
In fact, a majority of Hispanic parents agree that regardless of their economic situation, they’ll make sure to stretch the budget so they can buy the right toys, on their kids’ wish lists, this holiday season.
Some other survey findings include:
• Kids are the priority
This season with the majority of parents noting that buying gifts for their kids is more important vs. buying gifts for adults.
• Nagging definitely works!
Close to 40 percent of Hispanic parents agree, nagging is the most persuasive technique that Hispanic kids use to get the toy they want for Christmas.
Close to half of parents wait to open gifts on Christmas Day, meaning the rest give their kids a sneak on Christmas Eve.
To help you put the toys your kids want under the family Christmas tree, I’m giving away a $25 Walmart Gift Card, because as you know Walmart is America’s largest seller of toys and there’s no better place to buy your Holiday gifts!
