Expect bigger, better and brighter new shows!
Just like Waly Disney said on July 17, 1955 opening day,  “Disneyland will never be complete so long as there is imagination left in the world” for the 60th celebration, there will be a new show and 2 new parades!
“Paint the Night” Parade – It’s the new nighttime parade at Disneyland. You’ll be amazed to see how pixy dust transforms Main Street, U.S.A into a magical dream. Remember the Disney electrical parade from when your were a kid? I do and I remember I loved it! “Paint the Night” parade is an electrical parade but expect bigger and brighter, with new technology, amazing  imagination and of course unforgettable music. With more than 1.5 million brilliant LED lights that flash and glow as Mickey Mouse using his magic paintbrush paints the streets on Main Street, U.S.A

At the “Paint the Night” parade you’ll see and hear the music of Disney films like; Cars, Lightning McQueen races in with his buddy Mack Truck, who makes a hefty impression at 54-feet long, covered from headlights to tail pipe in gleaming light.

Cinderella, Rapunzel and beloved characters from tales such as “Monsters, Inc.,”  “The Little Mermaid,” “Beauty and the Beast” and “Toy Story,” And of course  Mickey and his friends will create a breathtaking grand finale

Forget what you know about fireworks, Disneyland is going all the way to celebrate its 60th anniversary with the most amazing fireworks show you’ll ever seen. “Expect an immersive fireworks show from street-to-sky” said Disney Imagineer Steve Davison. You’ll be surrounded by images, lights and songs from your favorite Disney tales from the tips of your toes to the sky high above thanks to the largest installation of projection mapping technology in a Disney park and surprising special effects.
One minute you’ll be in the jungle dancing with King Louie from “The Jungle Book,” and another one traveling “Under the Sea” with the Little Mermaid and flying over London with Peter Pan.
The new show includes two original songs;  the “Disneyland Forever” theme “Live the Magic,” and the inspiring closing song “Kiss Goodnight,” written by another Disney Legend, Richard M. Sherman, and sung by Ashley Brown, star of the Broadway production of “Mary Poppins.” The “stage” for “Disneyland Forever” fireworks will extend from the sky above to Main Street, U.S.A., “it’s a small world,” the Matterhorn and mist screens along the Rivers of America, offering guests a new experience from each location.
“World of Color – Celebrate! The Wonderful World of Walt Disney” Reminds guests that, if they never give up on their dreams, anything is possible.
For the last 5 years Disney California Adventure has amazed us with dancing fountains and amazing lights on World of Color. For the 60th anniversary World of Color will be transformed into “World of Color – Celebrate! The Wonderful World of Walt Disney” Where Mickey Mouse and award-winning actor Neil Patrick Harris will entertain guests in this fun-filled new presentation of the popular, nighttime show. Both epic and intimate in scope, “World of Color – Celebrate!” brings to life the remarkable story of Walt and The Happiest Place on Earth with animated imagery, live-action film, fountains, lasers, special effects and a stirring musical score.  You’ll  take an inspirational journey through the unparalleled imagination of Walt Disney, exploring his decades-long legacy of memorable animated moments around the world and the dream of Disneyland Park.
