Bring The Enchantment of Disney Cinderella Home on September 15th & Giveaway!

disney Cinderella DVD revie and giveaway
If you’re a girl you gotta love Cinderella, I remember when little, I truly believe there’s was prince charming waiting for me somewhere in the world, although I never found it, ( I got married, but not exactly to a Prince) But I still love the classic story of Cinderella, that’s why I was extremely excited when Disney announced they where bringing Cinderella to life, I mean with human characters and and extended version which will help you understand Cinderella’s story better, these are some of my favorites things I learned while watching Disney Cinderella.

Why is Cinderella so kind and sometimes naive ?

Disney Cinderella is a beautiful story about parents and daughter relationship, although the story is a fairy tale, you can relate to Cinderella’s feeling of loosing her mother so young and her inconditional love for her father who raised her. In this version of Cinderella we get to really know why Cinderella is so nice and you might be happy to know it’s because of her mother who told her before dying, Have Courage and Be Kind”

Why does her Stepmother and Stepsisters hated Cinderella so much?

I remember I used to hate Cinderella’s Stepmother which is played by the amazing Cate Blanchett and Stepsisters when growing up and watching the movie, but although I still don’t like them I nderstand the Stepmother’s anger towards Cinderella, I think most woman will be angry if your husband still loves his dead wife right? Although the Stepmother becomes evil!

Why the name Cinderella?

This is one of my favorite scenes, to learn the origin of Cinderella’s name. Her name is Ella, but there’s a scene where her face is cover with cinders (ashes) so one of her stepsisters calls her Cinder-Ella, Cinderella.

There are much more surprises and details about Cinderella’s story, such as a conspiracy from an employee of the Prince’s castle and Cinderellas’ stepmother to prevent her from marrying the Prince.

Cinderella is a beautiful film to watch with the family, specially girls, but my youngest boy loved it! (He’s in love with  Cinderella BTW)
