Are you a Financially Responsible Mom? #MoneyMami

#moneymami Massmutual survey

Who wouldn’t like to be an affluent mom? I know I do! And everyday I try really hard to be, that’s why I was so interested on being part a campaign for MassMutual #MoneyMami who released a study about affluent Hispanic moms’ behavioral finance.

The survey found, that Hispanic moms, with household incomes greater than $100,000, are trying to be financially responsible, while striving to be perfect at managing all the household responsibilities. Sounds familiar? It does to me.

This video really explains the findings of the MassMutual survey, take a look

Do you identify yourself with this women? Take a look at the Mass Mutual survey infographic.

MassMutual_Hispanic Mom Survey_English I wish I was in the same situation as this as the women who took the survey, although I do have some of the same concerns such as;

  • I’m concerned about the current situation of my families’ finances and most of the time I don’t know where to turn for help and I think I’m the only one in this situation.
  • I try to save as much money as I can and cut back on unnecessary expenses, but I always feel I should be doing more to save for the future, but at this moment I can’t because money is tight.

TEACHING CHILDREN THE VALUE OF MONEY, LATINA MOM TV

  • My boys are 4 and 5 years old and I’m already teaching them about finances making them save money, but I always wonder, if I’m teaching them correctly and if they will become financially responsible.

I believe any mom, regardless of their current economic situation share some of the same concerns. I also think in the 21st century when the salary gap between man and woman is much smaller than in years past and more Latina woman are taking leadership roles, it is our role as Latina Moms to be Financially responsible, don’t you think?

Would you like to find out your financial personality profile? I TRULY ENCOURAGE YOU to take the MassMutual Mom Survey. I took it and learned I need to be A LOT more financially responsible. You might learn a few things as well!
