5 tips to help children make friends

Teaching our children to make friends should be part of the education we provide as parents and although some might think, it’s easy for kids to make friends,  it might not be and this could have an impact on your child’s self esteem.
Using my own experience with my new kindergartener, here are 5 tips on how to help your children make friends.

  1. Great tips. Kinda wish I’d had them when my daughter was young. Don’t know if it would have made much difference, as she really didn’t have much trouble making friends – when she wanted them. She didn’t always want friends and was often perfectly happy being by herself. One of her teachers tried to tell me she was socially immature. She wasn’t. She was and is simply an introvert. And that’s my tip – sometimes you just gotta respect that your kid is happy being by his or her self.

    Thanks for the tips. I’m going to use at least one of them because it seems that my kid is a total introvert and he needs that extra push to get out there.
