When I was younger, I would always get a pimple before my big date, now is before a big event or meeting, I would get razor bumps in the bikini area the day of the big pool party where I was hoping to charmed the boy I liked with my sexy legs who also were irritated from all the shaving.
20 years later, I learned a few tricks to avoid all this, even though sometimes the unthinkable happens, that’s why here are 3 tricks to avoid those embarrassing beauty disasters:
Blemishes and Pimples
Growing up, I tried everything to avoid acne, even eating magnesium sulphate with honey! I have a very oily skin so I’ve been dealing with pimples my whole life, even as an adult so here’s what I do:
Once a week, I exfoliate my face with sugar and water. (My grandma’s tip) With 2 tablespoons of sugar and 2 tablespoons of water make a thin paste and rub it on your face in circular motions, then rinse off. You’ll love how soft your skin is!
BEST TIP: The moment you feel you’re getting a pimple, apply EradiKate Acne Treatment, I don’t go anywhere without this, it’s only $22 and the best acne treatment I’ve ever tried, seriously I never see a pimple.
Avoid Razor bumps
They not only look aweful, they are uncomfortable and scratching the bikini areA it’s not a sexy look, follow these tips to get an irritation-free skin.
- Shave in the shower. The steam from the warm water will make hair softer and your skin less prone to irritation.
- Exfoliate. This will clear off dead skin cells and pave the way for a clean shave.
Don’t use soap, use shaving cream. The softer your skin is the easier to remove the hair. Here’s a tip, if you’re in a hurry and don’t have shaving cream, use hair conditioner.
Glide the razor don’t press down. If you apply pressure the razor can be uneven.
Each area one time. Try to avoid going the same are twice but if you missed a spot , shave with the grain instead of against it, to avoid irritation.
Very importabt to use a new razor.
Shave every other day if you can.
Specially during the summer we want to show off our skin, wear sleeveless, strapless, what ever makes us feel sexy..
But sometimes, we have a little problem..
Dark armpits, which are caused by too much shaving plus your deodorant could also be the cause of those dark armpits.
The solution: You could opt for waxing or plucking to get rid of the hair below the skin surface or better yet and much easier, use Dove, Clear Tone Skin Renew Deodorant. It contains calendula and sunflower seed extracts which help to moisturize your skin while speeding up the natural skin renewal process. With regular use you will see dark marks visible reduced and even tone, plus you’ll get 24-hour odor and wetness protection.
